Dr. Kathleen Flynn grew up just outside of Woodstock, NY. She received her B.S. from Bard College and attended Medical School at New York Medical College. She graduated Medical School as a member of AOA, the National Medical Honor Society, and entered her pediatrics training at Westchester County Medical Center. Upon completion, she trained for an additional year in a fellowship for adolescent medicine.
Dr. Flynn began working as a pediatrician in a large Community Health Center Organization which had eleven different sites. She was employed there for fourteen years, the last ten years of which she worked as Director of Pediatrics. She moved to Raleigh to be closer to her family and was happy to accept a position with Growing Child Pediatrics.
Dr. Flynn is bilingual; this said, she primarily works in an office with many Spanish-speaking patients. She is passionate about giving the best medical care to her patients and wouldn’t change any career decision she has made in her life, including the privilege to be a part of Growing Child Pediatrics.
