Through this specialized training program, she is now a licensed clinical social worker. This specialized degree requires yearly continuing education and ethics training, all of which are monitored by the North Carolina Certification and Licensure Board. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers, which gives her access to a wide array of mental health resources.

Julie specializes in working with children and adolescents who may be experiencing stressors in their home or school environments. These stressors may come from being teased or bullied at school, academic and attention difficulties, parents divorcing, the birth of a new sibling, or another specific trauma.
