Judy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Marist College in New York.

Her experience in the field of mental health and wellness has led her to enjoy working with people of any culture, religious background, sexual orientation, or life transition.  Judy desires to provide a nonjudgmental relationship of trust and confidentiality.  Her approach to counseling is holistic, positive, and genuine.

Judy has been trained in evidenced-based treatments utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Guided Imagery, Rewind Technique for Trauma, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She is certified in the treatment of trauma. She has a particular interest and continues her training in Human Givens Psychology with an emphasis on assisting individuals and families in developing resources to better meet their physical and emotional needs.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time having fun with her family and friends, biking, and music.
