Robin Zenick, MD
Dr. Robin Zenick was born in New Jersey but grew up in the small town of Ashton, Maryland outside of Silver Spring. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University she went to the University of Rochester for medical school. Realizing 8 years of the cold and snow was enough, she decided to find a nicer climate and came to Duke for her pediatric residency. She met her husband and decided to make North Carolina her home.
Although Dr. Zenick enjoys caring for all children, she has a special passion for adolescents. She spent three years working at a non-profit clinic for teenagers in Raleigh after her residency and has now decided to bring that expertise to Growing Child Pediatrics. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Outside of work Dr. Zenick enjoys spending time with her husband, 5 year old son, 2 year old daughter and extended family that live in the Cary/Raleigh area. She also likes snowboarding, dancing and gardening. She is looking forward to meeting you and hearing you say “Dr. Z” or “Dr. Robin” really soon.
