Kathleen Flynn, MD

I grew up just outside of Woodstock, NY (yes, the Woodstock). I received my BS from Bard College, and attended Medical School at New York Medical College. I graduated Medical School as a member of AOA, the National Medical Honor Society, and entered my pediatrics training at Westchester County Medical Center. Upon completion, I trained for an additional year in a fellowship for adolescent medicine. I began working as a pediatrician in a large Community Heath Center Organization which had eleven different sites. I was employed there for 14 years; the last ten years of which I worked as Director of Pediatrics. I moved to Raleigh to be closer to my family, and was happy to accept a position offered to me by Growing Child Pediatrics. I am bilingual, so I work primarily in an office where we have many Spanish speaking patients. I am passionate about giving the best medical care to my patients, and wouldn't change any career decision I've made in my life, including the privilege to be a part of Growing Child Pediatrics.
