James M. Poole, MD FAAP, a graduate of Clemson and the Medical University of South Carolina, is a recognized national speaker and author on childcare and managed care. Dr. Jim assisted in the founding of Camp Challenge for children with asthma, The Growing Child pre-schools, and Healthy Childcare America - a partnership with the Academy of Pediatrics and US Dept. of Health and Human Services. His lovely wife, Lillian, and their three boys keep him active in all sports (each has played varsity basketball and tennis at Broughton High School). He is an avid tennis player and has been a finalist in the NC tennis father-son division.
