Robert "Frank" Poole, Jr. MD

Robert "Frank" Poole, Jr. MD, a graduate of Clemson University and Duke Medical School, is enjoying taking care of second generation families. His three children are successfully giving back to their communities, and his wife Harriet is known for her work at the art museum and hospitals in Raleigh. Dr. Frank’s hobbies include gardening, beach house remodeling, and golf.

Beginning September 8, our Wake Forest location will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am-12:30pm for Urgent Care.

Growing Child Pediatrics supports Embrace Uganda, a nonprofit organization that reaches out to encourage and empower a generation of Ugandan orphans, one village at a time! The organization focues on the villages of Kaihura, Kampala and Koreng.

This year, three teams will be making three separate trips to villages, focusing on sports and arts outreach clinics, mosquito net distribution and blanket distribution.
