
NC Licensed Professional Counselor
Amber earned a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina (LPC) and a certified counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC).
She has a broad range of experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults. She completed an internship at The WARM Place; a grief support center for children and their families in Fort Worth, Texas where she trained in areas related to bereavement and group process. She has experience facilitating groups with children of all ages, young adult's and a general women's group.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys painting, cooking, and watching the Tar Heels play basketball!
