Dori Thomas, MD
Dori Thomas, MD and FAAP, is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and comes to North Carolina via the Medical School at St. Louis University and pediatric residencies at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and the University of North Carolina Department of Pediatrics. She also has a graduate degree in pharmacology and toxicology. Her clinical interests include asthma, behavioral issues including ADHD, parent and community education, and pediatric drug development. When she is not in the office, she stays busy with her high school age twins, Alex and Annemarie, and her husband Mike, an endocrinologist who practices in Raleigh. Miss Dori has been a pediatrician at Growing Child Pediatrics since 2000 and enjoys working with patients — and seeing the children grow and develop.
